This thesis investigates the deep economic impact of the novel coronavirus or Covid-19 aspopularized by the media on the two leading economies in the world: United States of Americaand China. As the financial crisis caused by the virus worsens on a day to day basis in mostcountries, it is crucial to identify and quantify the repercussions of the pandemic in order to set aproper plan to reboot the economy.
